"Kentucky's Finest"Alfalfa-  A forage that is high in protein, vitamin A, minerals, and digestible energy. Great for horses and cattle, many consider alfalfa a complete forage.

"Kentucky's Finest" Orchardgrass/Alfalfa- This is one of the Classic mixtures. Orchardgrass is a tall-growing, cool-season, perennial bunchgrass that continues to play an important role in Kentucky's forage-based agriculture. It has the potential to produce high yields and, with proper management, can be high quality with good animal performance. It can be grown alone or in mixtures with Alfalfa.

"Kentucky's Finest" Timothy-  Timothy is a perennial bunch grass that does not spread by rhizomes or stolons. Timothy has a shallow, fibrous root system. Timothy is readily identified by its characteristic cylindrical seed head, blue-green color, and swollen tiller base. Individual timothy shoots live during parts of two growing seasons, and some new shoots develop each year from older ones, which results in a perennial stand

"Kentucky's Finest" Mixed Grass- Tall fescue is a long-lived grass with short underground stems, is presently grown on approximately 5.5 million acres in Kentucky and on approximately 35 million acres in the south central United States. It is a versatile plant used for livestock feed, lawns, turf and conservation purposes, and is adapted for a wide range of soil and climatic conditions.  This mixture also includes other grasses and legumes, such as Timothy, Orchardgrass, Clover, and Alfalfa.
